9900 is the postal code of the small city of Frederikshavn, North Denmark. My PhD project has a special focus in the municipality of Frederikshavn, with over 60,000 people. This is the most northern municipality in Denmark, and it’s considered to be in its periphery.
I’m interested in the interplay between large cities and the periphery regarding innovation and economic development. Summing up, the reason that I opened this blog was to keep in eye in the survival process of Frederikshavn a changing municipality in a changing economy.
